Ordered over 6 months ago and left a negative feedback review on trustpilot. Just received an email from Wholesale Domestic Bathrooms for feedback for my "recent" order (like I said - it was 6 months ago - but hey ho) so here it is again..... !!BUYER BEWARE!! Really wish I'd read these reviews before purchasing from this awful company. Placed a £700 order two weeks ago. All items were showing in stock at the time of ordering, with the website stating in stock items would be delivered within 5-7 days. After 6 working days I'd had no delivery details so called. Started off as 8 in the telephone queue. Took 10 mins to be 1 in the queue then another 22 mins to actually speak to a customer service agent. Was told the order hadn't been sent out as the towel rail I ordered had to be special ordered in. When I stated this wasn't mentioned anywhere on the website and that it showed as in stock I was told rather rudely that regardless that was the case and that was why there was a delay. Was told the order would be shipped later that day. That evening I received an email stating the order had been shipped although it still showed as processing on the website account. After receiving nothing for 3 days (delivery schedule or otherwise) I called again (another 30 mins in a queue). Was told that the order was being picked. When I informed the assistant that I had previously been told it had been shipped she snapped back that she hadn't said it hadn't been shipped and that it would be with me shortly. Called again the next day (only 20 mins in the queue this time - progress). The assistant said I should have been contacted by the courier and that she would contact them to get a tracking number and would email me within the hour. No surprise that I never received an email. Called again the next day (back to over 30 mins in the telephone queue) to be told the same again and that I would get an email with tracking details. Got an email about 3 hours later stating the courier had 'lost' the order. Yeah right - I never actually believed it had been shipped in the first place. Called them again (yay more time of my life lost to this awful company and their telephone queue). Told them I wanted this order cancelled as it was now over 2 weeks since I ordered and we were no nearer getting a delivery date than before. Was told it would take 3-5 days. What??? It's the 21st Century. Banking is instantaneous these days. Funny how it was instantaneous when they took the payment. Will be interesting to see if I actually do get the refund (in full as per the Consumer Contracts Regulations with regards to distance selling) or if I will have to contact my credit card company to issue a chargeback. I have today ordered the items I require from a different company with next day delivery, and have already had the tracking number to confirm delivery tomorrow. If this was my company I'd be horrified by the reviews here and be doing everything in my power to correct these issues and make sure they don't happen again. But it does appear problems have been happening time and time again and they just don't seem to improve. If you purchase from Wholesale Domestic after reading the reviews here on Trustpilot you only have yourself to blame when it all goes wrong. You've been warned.
