Mr Hiroshi Nishikawa was excellent, putting me at ease with his approachable manner and knowledge. He was readily available both in person and over the telephone when I needed him. I genuinely felt like my well-being was priority, which wasn’t the case when I initially made enquiries with local surgeons in my area. His assistant Anja, couldn’t have been more helpful- all communication was dealt with promptly in a personable manner- she even went out of her way to call/respond to my message whilst on personal leave! With regards to the procedure itself, the option of LA and sedation is far preferable to all the hassle and discomfort following a GA. I had to travel a distance for the procedure, but it was more than worth it to get this type of surgery. Any last minute nerves were countered by the nurse Georgina: she was fantastic, no problem was too small and she provided me with great care, support and advise on the day/week following the surgery. I would definitely recommend this surgeon and his team and I’m very pleased with my results so far.
