I happened upon West Lancs Auto Electrics after doing a Google search for an alternator for my wife's car. I went through the normal procedure of placing the car's reg. number in and found an alternator. I was mindful that there are different alternators for the wife's car. I managed to find the alternator part number (likely there was a label on the alternator and I could get to it). I counted the ribs on the belt. I then contacted West Lanc directly and spoke to a very helpful guy called Dave. I understand the alternator will arrive in a few days.
