It’s great to have a quick and easy way to sell unwanted books etc. and WeBuyBooks largely fulfils that need: dropping off parcels for collection is quite convenient, and payment is received pretty quickly. However there are a few issues. 1) The prices that they pay are quite meagre. Other similar businesses accept more books and pay more for them. 2) The current iPhone app has several annoyances, especially when inputting ISBNs for books with no barcode: too many clicks are needed each time and there is no dedicated numeric keyboard, leading to slower typing and more errors. Also the audio tones for accepted and rejected items are identical, so you have to keep a close eye on the screen.
