Weekend before last spent nearly £300 on mainly 20" square, antique silver wooden framed classic artwork, comprising of Hukusai, Van Gogh, Klimt, Macke, Matisse and Banksy. Upon arrival two of the frames were damaged, and one of the mounts had rips on them. However, all the frames are quite flimsy, and not as good quality as we were expecting. Also, as most of the frames we ordered were square, the Klimt Kiss picture and the Banksy anti-capitalism picture look odder than we thought as being fattended/stretched.
We've called a couple of times, with no answer, and we've emailed a couple of times, with no answer. It's been nearly a week since the arrival, so we would have expected an acknowledgement by WallArt Direct by now. We've asked for 2 new frames, and 1 mount, and neither have they been sent to us in the post.
If we don't hear from them in the next 24 hours, we've asked for them to collect the whole order at their cost, and reimburse us the whole order cost (including postage).
