I was apprehensive from the start; the need to treat my cataracts was countered by the fear of having any kind of operation on my eyes. Everyone at Vision Scotland did everything they could to allay my fears. At each step, I was kept fully informed of test results, helped to understand the various replacement lens options and guided toward an appropriate choice. On the day of the operation, I was talked through the procedure again before the operation and it all went well, with no discomfort.
