I've now ordered a product twice from Viking and it's arrived broken both times - snapped in half completely in the box and therefore totally unusable. The customer service has been well meaning but completely ineffectual and each person I've spoken to has done something wrong/not done something they said they were going to do which has made my interaction with Viking incredibly hard work. I put in a complaint email which was replied to, but forwarded on to another dept and I've had no reply since the initial acknowledgment. Just really shoddy service. I now have an invoice pending on my account which isn't going to be paid as it arrived broken - I was told it would be cancelled but that hasn't happened. Both broken items are taking up space in my work reception as they still haven't been collected - the first one was supposed to happen in the 1st week of September! You can't get replacement items without reordering so I'm still waiting for the refund for the first order as well as the cancellation of the invoice for the 2nd replacement order. I am just so completely frustrated and annoyed by this shop and want it solved asap - it's been far too long already.
