Only had the boiler 5 years then we had no heating and no hot water we had a new circuit board put in and a few weeks later same problem Gas man came out said it was our new circuit board? 21/12/18 (cost £400) waited two weeks as it was the festive season (not the best time to be without hot water or heating and we are both pensioners) phoned gas man, said he got in touch with Viessman and they are going to sort it out (03/01/19) still waiting?
