I had an encounter with a Verisure employee who was extremely rude. She came into a nail salon while I was getting my nails done, and without even apologising started shoving her phone into the face of the nail practitioner who was in the middle of doing my nails… telling her to “stop for a few minutes and watch our security video”. I was completely shocked as this lady was clearly doing her job, busy and focused so I politely mentioned it to the Verisure rep. Not only she didn’t apologise, she started saying I was annoyed cause she interrupted my nails… erm, yes, of course I was! You come to an appointment like this at an agreed time, not while customers are being served. The rude rep also started saying where the “hidden” alarm bells would be placed under the counter, how the fog bomb would be activated etc. all this while me and other customers were in the salon. I feel like this conversation should’ve been done in privacy. The rep was so rude and unapologetic, but also strikingly unprofessional that I’d never trust this company with any sensitive security issues.
