The UK Planning Maps service was pretty straightforward to use and I was able to readily create the appropriate Site Block Plans and Site Location Plans. In an ideal world I should have been able to use the service on the UK Planning Portal without having to resort to an additional fee. It also doesn't help that my Local Planning Authority, the UK Planning Portal and UK Planning Maps are not consistent in their use of terms for the same maps.
