The real test of a good Insurer is how they help you if you ever need to make a claim. However, if they are as good as they have been so far (we've been with them for a year on a gap year-type trip through Australia & New Zealand) haven't made any claims yet), especially in my phone enquiries with them (Thank you Stefan), then I am reassured. I like that they cover a wide & selectable range of adventurous activities across the world & that can include coverage for backpacker-type work (e.g. hospitality, adventure sports guiding/instructing, etc.). Also, the policy application process was pretty clear & easy to step through. The actual policy documents/small print are also clear - clearer than most, & should be checked through. I have set up Annual Single & Multi-trip policies with high levels of adventure sports coverage for 2 members of my family &, on the basis of what I have seen so far, I would recommend TrueTraveller as a good option to my wider family & friends.
