I was really impressed with the overall quality of the suede & the heel comparred to other chelsea boots i have seen on the market that are half the price. I believe there is a genuine quality difference my only concern i had was the first i wore them, i walked on a gravelish type road with rocks & pebbles on the ground & the bottoms on my boots are perminately scratched & unable to buff them out. I understand overtime that is meant to lose quality but i was shocked to see how much they scuffed up just from one day. So going forward i am going to extra careful to where I walk with these shoes. Overall love the pair & they are my favorite shoe I have ever owned maybe leave a warning about things like that.
