Our claim was a little different in that it was an unexplained loss uncovered when my father had passed away and were sorting his belongings. Mum is obviously distraught that we cannot find three family heirloom, one piece being the last thing dad brought her. They were not especially valuable and given the circumstances it could have been a different outcome. However, we explained the full circumstances to Michelle Hayward who dealt with this professionally and promptly. Within a day or so a positive decision was made, without fuss and with great compassion. Yes we needed to complete some forms and report it to a claims loss company.
