Ordered birthday gift for my goddaughter on 23rd November for her birthday on 6th December. It didn't arrive. It sat in Evri's delivery office for 11 days. I complained to The Entertainer. First via Whatsapp (it WAS listed on their contact page or I wouldn't have been able to message them). Then via Twitter. Was told I had to wait 3 days for them to send a message to Evri, and to contact them again if nobody bothers to contact me within that time. It is for me to accept that Evri are unable to provide an acceptable service 4 weeks before Christmas. God forbid someone at The Entertainer would make a phone call and escalate issues. The Entertainer does not choose it's delivery partners based on their performance - the statistics are out there. The Entertainer wants your money and doesn't really care what happens after that. The Entertainer says the Evri issues are out of their hands. Which is a lie. They have chosen a delivery partner with an appalling record and chose to go into business with them. I will always boycott them. Amazon is, for all its faults, cheaper and quicker. Apparently they attempted a delivery while I was at work today (no warning it was coming so couldn't arrange for someone to be in). I'm waiting to hear about compensation for not being able to give my goddaughter a birthday present. To be fair, they couldn't care less about their customers so I won't hold my breath.
