with my daughter on wednesday 14/11/18 who had to go to nottingham 'the range' to pick up some lamp shades for a nightclub in grantham.she had previousley rang the manager and was assured they had 10 in stock,and that they would be waiting for her,however was a different story when we got there.The member of staff we consulted was insistent they knew nothing about it,furthermore she told us they had 4 on the shop floor and we could either wait or come back another day for the rest,as they were in the warehouse and difficult to get to.!..my daughter pointed out we had made a special journey,and wouldnt be coming back..its only when we asked to see the manager that lo and behold they appeared.!!..on our way with the 10 lightshades promised,they werent cheap,@ £200 plus id have thought theyd have been waiting for us,withot having to go through that experience.!!...dont do store transfers,obviousley customer service doesnt exist anymore..in my day as a retail manager.this would never have happened..invest in getting good customer service 'the range' you are letting youre customers down.
