I joined the TEFL academy in mid February 2017 and graduated with Distinction on the 1st May 2017. I left school nearly 35 years ago so this was a BIG learning curve for me. The course is structured really well and can learn at your own pace. I struggled with the grammar section as I had been away from the education system for a very long time, The 20 hour classroom activity was excellent in meeting other students at the same stage as yourself in the TEFL studying programme. I spent more then the 120 hours studying (but that was just me, trying to understand everything). I really enjoyed this course and was very happy when I got distinction awarded. IF I CAN DO THIS, SO CAN YOU !! I am now off to a school in Bangkok to teach Business English to young adult students all because, I now have my TEFL certification.
