RPi5 ordered late one evening and delivered promptly a day and a bit later. Very good service. The good news.
Less so, and reason for loss of star, on booting or attempting to; a complete failure. Fortunately, I had a spare 128gb SD card. Downloaded operating system to this and all was mostly plain sailing.
Almost a super little machine, it can cope well with everything, TinkerCAD, Cura,Libreoffice (eventually), and g mail. Loss of sound is a great backward step, and the main reason I won't buy another.
