Despite giving full delivery instructions over the phone and my mobile phone number for the courier as the panels needed to go to my back of the house entrance for storage in the garage, they got dumped on the gravel in my front garden!!!
This was a nightmare as I was unable to carry due to the huge size of 2.4 metres each panel!
I phoned customer care to ask why I had no phone call as requested. I was told they phoned a landline number which when I checked the number they had on the system, was where I lived 18 months ago! I assume that the debit card gives the phone number of where the card was first registered to. How pointless is that. What was the point of me giving special instructions and specifically giving my mobile number…. why would anyone be called on a land line anyway????
No support was given to me in anyway going forward.
Being a lone female of 70, I had to phone a local handyman to come over to carry them all around to the next road where the garage is situated and pay him £20 for his call out time. I was not impressed !!!
