Whilst searching online for bathroom ceiling and shower wall panels, I came across the Panel Company website and chose some beautiful matt ceiling and high gloss (white) shower wall panels, which were reasonably priced and on budget for me. I was unsure about which trims to order, but the website has a number of extremely useful ‘How to install/ Choose the right products for the job’, video guides and demos. I made good use of the videos, because they were far more informative than other websites I had encountered in my search. My panels were delivered efficiently with care and on time by The Panel Company’s own delivery fleet, not via the usual unreliable, heavy handed courier services, we are so used to these days! Without any fuss or bother the friendly, helpful driver carried the panels into the house. I have a disability, which is the reason I need a new walk-in shower and my husband has got a shoulder injury, so he didn’t get much help from us. The panels far exceeded expectations and I was thrilled with the purchase. However the installer failed to come up to expectations and we had to take him off the job, which meant that I had to re-order. I found that the background knowledge provided by the ‘How To’ videos were invaluable, enabling us to question the workmanship and differentiate between reality and excuses given for unprofessional workmanship. So having had a chat with Gaz, who demonstrated genuine empathy for the situation, I took his advice and called in a professional bathroom plumber, to assess the damage before re-ordering. I know that if I lived in Bristol rather than Cornwall, he would have popped round to assess the damage himself. I have now re-ordered accordingly and I know the products provided by The Panel Company are excellent quality and very competitively priced. Having spoken to Joanna and Gaz on the phone, with Nick via email and the delivery driver, I can confirm that the customer service we received, was exemplary. Gaz was great and the empathy he conveyed was genuine (unusual in terms of other customer service experiences, from other companies). It matters when someone listens and really cares. The new fitter will start work in about 3 weeks and when it is finished, I will post another review with photographs. So, without any doubt, I can highly recommend The Panel Company and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Thank you all so much. It was good to do business with real professionals.
