The bed exceeded expectations in terms of look and quality build. It was, however, really complicated to put together due to how the bolts and other fittings work. The instructions were also insufficient. I say this as a person who has put together all manner of self-build wardrobes, kitchens, beds, etc so I can't imagine how much difficulty someone who isn't used to doing this sort of thing might have.
Yes, the end result is great, but I had to take things apart multiple times to get it right.
