I am usually very happy with my fish society deliveries, however my delivery last week was not delivered on the expected delivery date, by DHL. On the confirmation email it said that if it was not delivered on the designated day before 4:30 to contact you directly, I spoke to a lovely lady, I think her name was Lisa? She told me to call on the next day at 1:30 to confirm whether the delivery had arrived, and I expressed my concern that it might be defrosted …she advised me to call and speak to Cassandra. I did call, and I did speak to Cassandra, because the contents were quite defroster, in particular the Calamari, I felt she was quite condescending, and advised that the products would be fine if they were popped straight in the freezer, and was extremely reluctant to replace! We planned to eat them on Saturday, but as they had been so defrosted they were difficult to separate, very disappointing customer care, I felt. I have been buying from The Fish Society for a few years and have never encountered this before!
