This fraudulent company sent me several emails telling me of an ongoing online sales. Their products are ridiculously expensive, so buying them on sale looked like a logical thing to do. I took the time to pick out items and pay for them online using my credit card. 3 weeks later, i hear nothing, the products are not delivered and when I call their customer service, I was told there was a system error and my order ($150 worth) could not be processed. If this was true, why didn't anyone reach out to me to give me this information 3 weeks ago when I placed this order? Why was my money not refunded as soon as the system error was identified. Why do i see reviews from several years ago with dissatisfied customers complaining about the exact same thing? If this this company (The Body Shop) really intended to sell those products at the discounted price, they should reprocess my order and have it delivered to me, but alas, their real intention was to use other people's money to do their business by advertising false sales on their website with no intention to deliver. They wait until you call several weeks or months later when you realize your order is not coming and they offer to refund you with no compensation whatsoever. Why is my money not being refunded with interest? If you had borrowed this money from the bank, you would have had to repay with interest. This company steals money from their customers to run their business. This is terribly wrong and a clear case of fraud. I will NEVER order anything from the body shop again, not online, not at any of their store locations because the company is clearly a scam! Stay clear buying anything from them.
