When CN increased their excess and premium I went to The Bike Insurer and found a much better deal with a broker who provided an "Ageas" policy. Ageas were used by CN before they changed, increased their excess, and premiums. I went with "Go Skippy" and regrettably found that the schedule included an endorsement to exclude theft cover if my bike is parked outside my garage in my locality.
Be warned not all policies are the same even if they are nominally comprehensive and comparison sites do not look at the small print.
