When food items are in stock, Tesco delivery is very good and reliable, with friendly and helpful staff as well as various home delivery options. My one star deduction is in the ordering/basket part of the Delivery process on the App. It has improved, but the one thing I find annoying and time-consuming is with the added notes for substitutions. If you have an option and forget to complete it, you risk wasting everyone's effort and time by needing to return and messing up your meal plans. Tesco already had the answer to this when any added notes would appear against a product each time you added it to the basket. Please make this possible again ! Against a favourite of mine, I usually ask the picker to please choose the longest sell by. Today, 4 large cakes had today as the sell by. There are usually 5 days on the newest stock, and when ordering from home I am usually planning for a few days ahead. Tesco were excellent in immediately refunding the items. The Customer Service is first class.
