Overall I liked the course and found the methodology module to be particularly comprehensive and useful. The course is well organised and easy to follow and the assignments felt very in-line with the material covered. My main criticm is that the demonstration classes used never varied in size, age or ability- it was always the same 8 students. It would have been useful to see more examples and how lesson delivery is adpated to adjust. Also, during the teaching-writing portion of the methodoly module, the students were in a classroom without any tables which felt unrealistic, unpractical and unadapted for the purpose of that portion of the module. The materials also, at times, felt outdated. For example the telephone teaching module. It would be great if this was updated with a focus on zoom, google meets, preply etc.
