I learned a lot about grammar and teaching methodology, but the videos were a bit dated, and the telephone teaching course should really incorporate more content about zoom. I would have preferred to have more short assignments of 120 words and fewer longer assignments of 600 words. I would also contend that the feedback I received for the final assignment in the teaching methodology course should not have resulted in the need for a retake. I followed the S-S, P/W etc. format as detailed in the instructions, but my tutor preferred it formatted slightly differently. The main part that allegedly fell below standards was only 1/5 of the assignment. I had not had to retake any part of the course until then, and it was a sour way to end my TEFL experience. Overall, I learned a lot and cannot wait to put my TEFL skills to use, but having to retake the final assignment does not sit well.
