I felt the grammar course was the most thorough and explained the concepts well. However, oftentimes the grammar of the writing in the course itself was wrong or sloppy. There were misspellings, mispunctuation, etc. I also did not feel like the practice/graded quizzes tested my knowledge. A lot of the questions were easily solved just by looking at the phrasing or verbage used within them. At the end of the quizzes, there was no explanation as to which answer was correct and why. Also, if one of the quiz questions was marked as incorrect, the question would be completely different when going back for the second or third attempt. So there was always the doubt of "what was the answer to that original question?" The post-unit assignments actually got me thinking and made me go back to important parts of the unit to review. Perhaps there could be more interactive ways to learn throughout the course. If the live classroom videos had quiz questions throughout, this could be a good way to engage the viewer.
