There is some good material here and I like the student centered emphasis. However, I think the assignments are far too prescriptive leaving very little room for flexibility or creativity. It is fine to have a basic structure but not to be able to deviate, even if this is explained clearly, is unrealistic in a real teaching situation. However, I did learn from doing the lesson plans but not much from the quizzes ...some of which were a bit insulting to the intelligence of the student. I guess you are trying to pitch at all levels of student but perhaps this is a mistake as I think a real beginner with no teaching experience would be ill-equipped by this course. Nevertheless, as someone with a lot of teaching experience but none of TEFL, I did learn from the course materials and much of it, particularly the grammar section, was clearly laid out and easy to follow.
