Found a spare part (a rechargeable replacement light for an ABUS helmet) that was seemingly sold nowhere else in the UK. Item took a week to arrive. Disappointingly, it didn’t exactly fit my particular ABUS helmet. That might be no particular fault of Swinnerton — the description of the spare was pretty curt, and other wordier (foreign) sites suggested it would be suitable. In the event, have managed to shoehorn it into my particular helmet by carving out the plastic a little. So a success of sorts — but next time I might call ahead for advice.
