I was a bit sceptical about how much I'd be able to achieve in 3 months but decided to give it a go. Prior to, I had spent the same period of time at my local gym adult swimming classes but still couldn't swim independently without a float. Monika (Nottingham) took me through the basics of different styles before I settled for the front crawl which seemed more comfortable. In 2 months, I was confident enough to go it alone and by the end of my 3 month contract, I was back to the gym not as an adult learner but a full fledged swimmer even though I am still developing my skills. I would recommend the 1 to 1 lessons as it's a cost effective way to get going faster as an adult beginner.
