Purchased a wowcher holiday deal, the destination was changed as not suitable for military family. The lady was initially very helpful, however then came the extra charges for "better hotel and flight times". Holiday confirmed and all was ok, but no confirmation email received. Approx 10 days later I was called to confirm the holiday, then again called because they wanted the log in details for my ryanair account as ryanair no longer accepts 3rd party bookings. I politely refused to hand over the information however was informed that if they had no access to the account, my flights couldn't be booked. I had to remove all personal information before reluctantly allowing them access. I went on to make a complaint to wowcher about the breach of GDPR but again struggled to receive any correspondence other than we are sorry this has inconvenienced you - by WhatsApp! The holiday on the superescapes website is £100 pp cheaper than I've paid for the wowcher deal and if booked separately is almost £150pp cheaper. Live and learn but definitely won't recommend, wouldn't use again and will no longer buy from wowcher. Beware and avoid!
