I typically run cold hands-wise, but these gloves have proved pretty good at keeping my fingers warm at temperatures down to about 2°C, including wind chill. However, I've found if my hands are already cold before putting them on, they won't warm up for a while, even when riding hard. The dexterity is OK, enabling you to shift and operate your bike computer and light on/off buttons reasonably well, albeit a bit clumsily. A good feature is the long, stretchy cuffs fit under or over your jersey/jacket combo to seal out the weather.
