Firstly the wrong order was sent (16" sparklers, instead of 18" sparklers). I informed the company via email and received a polite response, but it was not very professional in format. I was asked to return the sparklers, so the correct order could be sent out. This can not be done using normal postal services as sparklers are classed as "explosive items". I was left quite embarrassed in the post office when, with a queue behind me, I was told they wouldn't take them from me. Eventually I returned the sparklers, and the 18" ones were sent out to me. Upon measuring the combustible material on the 18" sparklers, it was discovered there was a similar amount (if not slightly less) on the 18" sparklers than on the 16" sparklers! Essentially the 18" had 2 extra inches of grip space, not combustible material. Because of the hassle of complaining about receiving the wrong order originally, I didn't want the annoyance of complaining a second time. So essentially I've paid more for the 18" sparklers, than I would have for the 16" sparklers, for no extra benefit.
