I have just watched you video on installing cedar cladding and after reading the TRADA book find all your instructions are incorrect. You have vertical cladding which should have been fixed on to horizon battens fixed to vertical battens for through flow of air. Also an air gap top and bottom so as not to trap moisture.
They also recommend round head nails not punched below the surface. I am glad I did not follow your instructions.
