Unfortunately the sizing is not accurate. I have a few pairs of size 12 trousers. Recently I purchased a size 12 that were very tight. I returned them for a larger size (14). They arrived and I foolishly did not wear them within the 14 day return. When I did wear them they were very tight and uncomfortable. I have now measure them against my other size 12 trousers and they, despite being a 14, are smaller than my other size 12 trousers. As we are out of the 2 week return window I cannot now return the trousers. So advice is to always check sizing carefully.
