Well, it seems good - but Microsoft kept interfering!! I got to a certain stage of upgrading, but was very worried I'd lose some of my software data (essentially log-in) that may - or may not - recognize the W7 u/grade v. the old XP one. Having been prompted to do so, I downloaded W. Easy-Transfer, which I then backed-up onto a pen stick, but some files failed (I was given a list) - some of which I suspect may be embedded things within the software that worked within the XP environment, but & if missing, may cause the software not to work under W7. Perhaps my best route is to use an XP VM machine within a later MSW environment. I haven't tried Geeks support yet, but if & when I do, it may have all the answers I need, In summary, not that easy to use - but perhaps I just wasn't brave enough to enact the whole thing.
