The order arrived promptly enough and the stainless steel parts were really well made. The oak handrails were a different matter; the machining seems to be done in two passes by a half circular machine bit which leaves the handrails looking like they are made from two halves. The surface of the handrails were quite rough in some places and the plastic inserts that join the steels to the handrails need a template to ensure that they fit in the middle of the oak handrail ends. Clearly there is a very poor level of quality control before sending out the handrails!
