The rail itself is a lovely piece of Italian Walnut. The fitting brackets are of a good quality stainless steel and easily fitted, however I was disappointed that the rail had not been pre-drilled as it is almost impossible to ensure that the end pieces can be fitted concentric with the rail on-site.
