I contracted with a transporter through Shiply that was to pick up by the end of the month as I had my item in a storage unit so I canceled the storage unit as I was assured, they would be picked up and had plenty of time to do so more than their estimated window. I paid the deposit and as the date got closer, I was getting more nervous and contacted the transporter several times to be assured, only that they would be there by the end of the month as promised don’t worry about it then on the morning of the 31st they contacted me and said they would not be picking it up as promised, and that was only an estimate of arrival, not a guarantee. Even though in the thread, on several occasions they did, and it was a condition of me accepting their bid. when I contacted Shiply, I was told that they would look into it. I wasn’t never responded back by the same person twice in over many contacts as an end result Shiply did not help at all have not heard back from them and I would be very cautious on contracting in the future as their customer service is terrible also. Plus, Shiply will not communicate with you outside of email. I was told by them they do not have any outgoing, phone lines as it’s frustrating to wait days to hear back.
