The surveyor who attended was prompt, polite, engaging and professional. The e-platform is easy to use and appropriate. The practice of having to make full payment prior to being able to read a draft home report is not right. In my humble opinion, a client should only pay when they are satisfied with the home report. I was not happy with the value given to the property and my solicitor communicated this to Shepherds Dumfries. They did not change their valuation but remitted a request to me to provide further information to provide info on why the value should be changed! I feel the fee charged is over the top for 'work' done on a property valued at 80k! It's relatively expensive.
