No attempt was made to look at insulation in roof space infact surveyor didn’t even ask about access, then made an ‘assumed’ comment on the Home report. To get this changed we actually had to supply photos of the space to get him to change it. In addition during the ‘survey’ comment was made about damp to a parity wall but shared with my partner that ‘it was nothing to worry about’ It was commented on the report as ‘Damp’ but when I asked for some clarification on this it was changed to a ‘high damp’ comment and then gave our solicitor a totally different story, basically calling my partner a liar about the conversation he had had. Def feel let down by so called service.
