I bought my grandson - aged 7 - a Hoverboard with a go kart - it came as a package. He loved it but after just one month it stopped working. We tried all the recommended tricks to get it going again but it would not go. So I contacted SEGBO and was told that I had to buy a ‘return package’ for 17.50 in order to ensure that the items got sent safely back to them. I was also told that it would take approximately a week and that if it was proved to be a fault with the equipment that I would get the 17.50 back. I bought the return package and sent the hoverboard back. I heard nothing from SEGBO and it was only after writing over 20 emails, then telling them I would go to my credit card company and get a full refund if they did not respond that they finally told me the hoverboard would be coming back within days, it actually took 10 days but at last it was back. I don’t know what was wrong, I haven’t heard anything about a refund, and it took over 3 months to get it back! I know we have COVID to deal with but this is the worst experience of customer service, just sending an automated reply is not good enough when someone is waiting and waiting. As I said I don’t know what went wrong which would have been useful so we could perhaps use the information in the continuing use of the product. Would never buy from them again
