I had an appointment, last Friday at The Oaks in Havant, with Abby. She said she came from the Gosport branch of Scrivens. I wasn't expecting much success as I've had my NHS hearing aids for several years , without much success, and my hearing has deteriorated even more since I had Covid. The aids had never sat right behind my ears and I found them so uncomfortable that I would take them off after about an hour. Abby was so patient and kind. She did the necessary tests and fitted me with new aids and fully explained fitting them properly. The next day I sat in my garden and heard birds singing for the first time in years and I have worn the new aids constantly for nearly a week, discovering new sounds every day. I am so grateful to Abby and hope she knows how good she is at her job.
