Eyes originally tested on 24 February and it is now 6 April and I am still waiting for my sunglasses (order comprised one pair of glasses and one pair of sunglasses). The optician made an error with my original eye check and after waiting 3 weeks for my glasses (told it would be 2) I had to have my eyes retested and the glasses were returned to the manufacturer for correction.
After a further 2 weeks I was told my glasses were ready but on arrival at the store (Hamstead village) I discovered that my sunglasses were not ready and nobody could tell me when they would be.
I appreciate mistakes are made but I would expect an effort to be made to correct the mistake but at no time have I felt any sense of urgency from the store in putting right Scrivens error.
When I complained at the poor service the manageress did apologise but seemed irritated with me (having spent over £600 with Scrivens!).
Very poor service and no real effort made to put right Scrivens error quickly.
