My wife and myself have been customers of your Wallasey Branch for a number of years now and have nothing but praise and good words to say about the staff at that branch each and every one.from manager down. My complaint and critisism lies up the command chain when dealing with repairs out of bramch and warranty dealings. Your consideration and dealing with my issues from day one on problems with very expensive hearing aids for both myself in particular and lately my wifes hearing aids has been far below the standard and service anyone would accept. From day one of purchase my HAs have not been suitable or worked as I had hoped. They have broken in the same place twice, unkown as to why, sending off for repair takes forever to complete and get returned. During the whole period of problems the warranty expired and I am now told that the costs must be paid for by me to solve the problems❓ The same has happened to my wife, one aid is broken and has gone for repair. Now we are told warranty has expired and costs will be around £190 for the repair. This despite being informed the warranty was still valid by the audiologist. Who again has been really helpful. Having spent several £ thousands. Trying to get hearing aids as needed and basically having more issues than not having hearing aids in, is utterly unacceptable. Your customer service leaves lots to question I am sorry to say. How do unsuitable hearing aids from day one run out of warranty if they have not had a remedy found to cure the issues. That us similar to buying a Rolls Royce and for years having problems then being informed your warranty had expired please pay for any other repairs or solutions!!! Also how does one department infom that a warranty is still valid and head office refuse to do the repair as warranty is not valid❓ At the moment my wife has use of one hearing aid which now fails to hold a charge longer than a few hours. The other is still away refusing to be repaired unless paid for!! I do not wear either of my aids as they are not acceptablble for use for me and after what they cost I refuse to be charged again over warranty issues. I am really disappointed writing this review as sadly it is not a local branch issue but purely down to head office/customer care issues.
