I evaluated almost every plotting package for WPF and I chose SciChart because it of its performance, capabilities, and ease of implementation. It is by far the best performer on the market today. One of the unique features of SciChart is non-uniform data types, which allows for non-uniform data to be plotted on heatmap and other series. After using SciChart for a year now, I do not have to lookup the documentation any more. The API is very consistent and streamlined. If there is one thing that I wish to have is the reduction of the number of DLL that have to be included with the executable perhaps by combining some of DLL's.
