Excellent blade for cutting MDF. Not so clever for ripping softwood or hardwood as it seems to snag and judder its way through even 4 by 1.
I have the Evolution Rage 5s. Recently, I replaced the stock blade for a Saxton 24tpi with good results. Upon advice from other woodworkers, I purchased the 8.5 inch blade to minimize noise and wobble. It does make less noise, but, for the first time ever, I cannot cut normal timber.
