The trip was phenomenal! At first I was hesitant as the itinerary goes clockwise vs the traditional counter-clockwise route, but as soon as we got going I knew that it was a great decision! Many a day we would say how glad we were to be going in the direction we were. Our tour guide Luke was outstanding, doing a great job managing our group of ten. He provided a lot of interesting information that I would not have had if I had done the TMB self-guided. Everything from the food to accommodations to size of group and mix of people on the trip were great. I did a lot of research for this trip and Salamander was a lot lower price for the same or better quality trip as other outfitters. I wouldn't hesitate to travel with them again!
