I joined Salamander's TMB tour in September 2023 (the last tour of the '23 season). It was led by Pete Myers, who was brilliant - a knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humor, who also maintained a good pace and watched out for the group. The hotels offered were of a decent standard and I was happy with them. The 2 nights in the auberge were not as comfortable as in the hotels (especially having to deal with the common toilets and showers). Wish there were more luggage transfers, out of the 8 actual days of hiking we had to carry the extra stuff in our backpacks for 6 days. I was pleased that we had a great group of participants and I enjoyed the TMB. Would definitely consider Salamander again for other hiking adventures.
