I completed the Adult and Child Safeguarding for Designated Leads and Deputies and found this was really useful, our trainer was fantastic at explaining some things that I wasn't already aware of and answered any questions very clearly. I felt the way the session was run was a really good way of doing thing compared to other training I've been on before, I thought it was a great idea to go through the online training sessions first and test my knowledge, then go through a more chatty session with the trainer as an overview, to ask questions etc. I also found the length of the session perfect, sometimes they can be lengthy and quite heavy, but this was a great balance. Our trainer had fantastic knowledge to share with the group and the scenarios were a nice way to end in giving an idea of how to deal with things or who to contact if we weren't sure. Thank you!
